Through the Fairmont at Home initiative, hungry Singaporeans can order ready meals and items freshly prepared by dining venues at both Fairmont Singapore and adjoining sister property Swissôtel The Stamford. Popular choices range from Asian Market Café’s slow-cooked Australian beef rendang and Nyonya-style Kapitan curry chicken to signature crab cakes from Skai, Swissôtel The Stamford’s 70th-floor grill. It’s also possible to splurge on a Skai Collection for Two, which features lobster bisque, braised Australian Angus beef cheeks, creamed mushroom ragout, mini cheesecakes, a bottle of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut champagne, and more. Meanwhile, Szechuan Court is offering favorites such as Cantonese-style oven-roasted duck, while takeaway options from Italian restaurant Prego include 13 kinds of pizza; squid-ink tagliolini with asparagus and prawns; beef lasagna; and tiramisu. Customers can earn triple Accor Live Limitless reward points for purchases made until August 31, and spending S$200 or more will guarantee free local delivery, with a same day option available. The National Day Collection being sold via the Mandarin Oriental’s online shop will no doubt tempt local gourmands. One of Singapore’s favorite local dishes gets an upgrade in the signature Maine lobster laksa; other savory choices include nasi goreng with chicken satay; wonton noodle soup; and wok-fried kway teow with Chinese sausage, fishcake, and prawns. Those with a sweet tooth will not want to miss the National Day–themed small cakes, which are only available until August 21. Inspired by kaya toast, the peanut mille-feuille toast features hazelnut sponge, peanut praline, and chocolate crémeux sandwiched between folds of crunchy pastry. Meanwhile, what looks like traditional jian dui (fried sesame balls) is in fact a white sesame mousse with red-bean paste and coconut dacquoise. The Mandarin’s pandan Swiss roll has a filling of coconut mousseline and molten palm sugar, and Kopi-Omisu offers up a Singaporean version of tiramisu with lady finger biscuits soaked in kopi-O. You can also take home three bottled cocktails from MO Bar’s Nomadic Collection, which includes Roaring City, a blend of vermouth and sparkling pineapple tepache created especially for National Day. Oakwood Premier AMTD Singapore

Available through August 31 for takeaway and delivery, three festive creations by Gary Lim, executive chef at the property’s Se7enth restaurant, nod to the nation’s intermingling of cultures. The Oakwood Premier nasi lemak burger has a filling of succulent chicken thigh coated in sambal sauce and caramelized onions, and is served with a crisp salad and curry powder–dusted shoestring fries. Another must-try is the seafood laksa pasta with a mélange of tiger prawns, squid, tofu puffs, and quail eggs, while Lim riffs on tandoori chicken for the final dish: grilled chicken drumettes rubbed with aromatics, dressed in zesty cucumber-and-mint chutney, and paired with lemon-infused couscous. A complimentary molten lava cake makes for a decadent finish; customers will be able to top up the meal with red or white sangria for a boozy kick. These items can be ordered separately or together as a family bundle priced at just S$56++ to celebrate Singapore’s 56th birthday. Check out Se7enth’s dine-at-home offerings through this link.

National Day specials at this ultra-luxe heritage property are available for takeaway and delivery through August 31. La Scala Ristorante is putting a local spin on Italian fare with its laksa pizza, which features toppings of prawn, laksa leaves, basil, cherry tomatoes, and tau pok covered in a blanket of mozzarella. Meanwhile, German venue Frieda Restaurant’s contribution is a sausage platter for two, complete with cheese spätzle and two pints of beer. Those in the mood for a Singapore-inspired cocktail can wash down the meal with a Kaya Toast Martini or Assam Colada, a refreshing blend of coconut liqueur, tamarind syrup, pineapple juice, and citrus.

Alternatively, you can order best-selling dishes from 15 Stamford by Alvin Leung like the indulgent lobster and scallop macaroni and cheese or signature pork prime-rib bak kut teh, which is slow-cooked for more than 12 hours and comes served with compressed watermelon and angelica barbecue sauce. Also notable is the restaurant’s selection of smoky kebabs, whose main ingredients run the gamut from lamb, barramundi, USDA Black Angus beef, river prawns, and Hokkaido pork belly, marinated or spiced in different Asian styles. The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

Until August 18, diners who order takeout from Fullerton Hotels’ two properties in the Lion City can enjoy 20 percent off on purchases of at least S$125. Options include a four-course set meal highlighting classics from Cantonese restaurant Jade (such as roasted Peking duck with condiments, simmered truffle ee-fu noodles, and more) or six-course sharing menus that tap into Malay and Peranakan culinary traditions. For example, the Nyonya Reunion Set comes with DIY popiah and kueh pie tee, fried pork belly in housemade spice paste, king prawns with pineapple and coconut gravy, and nasi panggang — fragrant rice wrapped and grilled in banana leaf. Dessert is a whole ondeh ondeh cake, with layers of pandan sponge, palm sugar, and coconut. The nasi panggang and ondeh ondeh cake are also featured in the Spices of Singapore set menu, alongside roasted chicken sapit, slow-braised wagyu beef cheek rendang, and Indonesian-style gado-gado salad.

The Fullerton Hotel’s executive pastry chef Siddharth Prabhu has also created a special National Day Cake, which depicts the Singaporean flag over layers of Rosella Jivara chocolate mousse, salted caramel and banana compote, and Valrhona Guanaja 70% chocolate chiffon. Another option is the National Day–themed Lion City afternoon tea set. Scones with clotted cream and jam are paired with an array of locally inspired treats: think chili crab jam mini choux, tandoori chicken tartlet with mint yogurt, pandan kaya Swiss roll, and kopi macarons. An additional 10 percent discount applies on self-collection orders, while delivery is free for purchases above S$100. All National Day specials will be offered through August. Find out more here.

W Singapore – Sentosa Cove

True to form, the W resort has named its National Day dining special after a playful portmanteau. Available for orders placed for August 7 to 9 (from 12 to 4 p.m.), the Ro-jiak Brunch features a lineup of dishes that pay tribute to Singapore’s diverse culinary heritage. This multi-course meal is offered for either two or four people; diners can tuck into rojak with youtiao (Chinese cruller), pork and chicken satay with ketupat (pressed rice cakes steamed in palm leaf), char kway teow, local lobster drenched in chili crab sauce with a side of mantou, alongside butter chicken with basmati rice and garlic naan. As if that weren’t enough, dessert comes in the form of a mixed berry cheesecake and peach streusel tart with pandan-infused crème anglaise. The Ro-jiak Brunch for four also includes assorted artisanal cheese, tandoori salmon, and wok-fried sambal mussel; depending on the number of diners, W Singapore will also provide four or eight cans of Tiger beer. Click here for more details.
